What can I expect?
You can expect that your session will be a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and valued. It can also be an opportunity to replace unhelpful ways of thinking and being, with those that better align with your strengths and values.

Why counselling?
Grace Room Counselling is mostly a talk-based therapy. You may need a sounding board, a different perspective, or simply somewhere to release - the tears, anger, sadness, worries, fears, disappointment... you name it.

Who is Grace Room Counselling for?

Ash has a particular interest in working with adults and young adults, male or female. Key topics of interest include motherhood, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and relationships.

What is the pricing of sessions?
Individual session: $100.00 - 50 minutes | Couples session: $130.00 - 70 minutes
Sliding pricing and gifted sessions can be discussed.


Where do sessions take place?
In-person sessions take place in Petone. Limited online sessions available.

What are Ash's qualifications and policies?
Ash holds a BA in Counselling from Bethlehem Tertiary Institute and is a Provisional Member of NZCCA. Ash follows the NZCCA Code of Ethics and Practice. Clients will be made aware of, and agree to the confidentiality and cancellation policies prior to beginning counselling.

What if it's not the right fit?
That's okay - it happens! It is important that the counselling process is safe and beneficial for both you and Ash. Anyone can opt out of the therapeutic relationship at any time. Ash will help to provide alternative options and referral pathways.
